I’M JAS.
HOW I CAN HELP YOU
The health and fitness world is a minefield. With conflicting information coming left, right and centre, it can be hard to know what to believe. When sales and money come into play, sadly people are happy to compromise their integrity by selling misleading information, advice or even products.
The way I get the best results for my clients is to create a bespoke programme that works with their lifestyle, that way we know it’ll be easy to stick to, and you can watch and celebrated the results and benefits as you start to see them.
Whether you’re looking for a diet plan that will actually work, guidance and a new-found confidence in the weights area at the gym, or just simply want to feel better and don’t know how, I’m here to help.
A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT ME
-
I’m a girl mum, and my fitness journey coincided with the start of my journey to motherhood on my own. She’s my real ‘mini me’ and she’s wonderful, and it is so important that I foster the kind of environment that allows her to grow up as a confident, healthy and happy woman, who is ready to take whatever the world may throw at her. I have always strived to be the sort of Mum who looks in the mirror with confidence and pride, knowing that she’ll likely adopt the kind of relationship I have with my body. She is my core motivation, and we all know that only an empowered woman can empower a girl.

After becoming a Mum myself I was shocked at the poor postnatal care received and the lack of clear information available. It became super important to me to learn more and learn well to support female clients during one of the most important times of their lives, especially when they need support the most. I also delved in to learning about what we can and can’t do in the gym when pregnant, and with knowledge I am now able to help women who have a fear of training when pregnant - something I wish I had!

I LOVE chocolate. I’m forever fighting the urge to satisfy my sweet tooth. My favourite chocolate is often something like a simple bar of milk chocolate. Though, it has to be said, when it comes to ice cream, raspberry ripple takes the top spot. I really have to manage my love for chocolate as it is such a comfort food for me, and typically something I would turn to in the past in difficult times. But it’s all about reframing those guilty pleasures, and I love helping my team do just that!

If I'm not focusing on health and fitness, I'm looking and planning our next trip. I’m not sure if it's a passion or verging on more of an obsession. I've lived – and worked – aboard and I adore the sun! Trips away take priority for me than nights out and partying. If I could pick only one country to travel the rest of my life it would have to be Italy - a foodie’s dream!
MY PERSONAL HEALTH & FITNESS JOURNEY
I spent a lot of my youth competing in sports - as so many kids do when you have energy in abundance and no pesky hormones working against you. As I hit adolescence and full-time work, I lost connection with a healthy lifestyle and in turn, I felt the effects across all areas of my life. Mentally and physically, I struggled. Even my relationships and career took a hit.
After a few years of working in travel and embarking on many adventures across the globe, I was blessed with my beautiful daughter. After she came into my world, I discovered this newfound perception and appreciation for the body. I wanted to show respect and love to my body after it gave me the greatest gift of all. I returned to the gym, I spent time in the kitchen getting creative with many different recipes, flavours, and organic ingredients, I got back out into nature to walk and rediscover the joy in movement, and slowly but surely I started to feel a sense of positivity and light.
Returning to fitness this time wasn’t necessarily about competing and running around like I once did as a teenager, but instead was about fuelling my body with goodness, both in the form of exercise and diet. I fell in love with the journey and because of this my results were long-lasting, and as my confidence grew and grew, I realised that I wanted to help other women find this sense of body confidence and potential too.
I’m a big foodie with a VERY sweet tooth. During my more difficult times, I tried to completely stamp down on this, so I would embark on quick-fix diets that would cut out entire food groups in the attempt to feel ‘skinny’, because being ‘skinny’ was a key criterion for being attractive, right?! Well, if you grew up in the ‘90s and read any girls’ magazines, you’ll most certainly have had the latest diet trends, Kate Moss’s pre-catwalk cigarettes & vodka ritual, and methods on ‘how to make boys like you’ shoved down your throat. Not to mention the later years when ‘skinny tea’ made came on the scene; an actual drink that would often cause severe dehydration and diarrhoea!
On my own health and fitness journey, I’ve worked so hard to undo the damage some of that rubbish caused, and everything I share with my community and clients are practices I follow myself. Not only do I want other women to feel good and confident in their own skin, but establish their unique formula that they need to adopt for results that are long-term. So if you’re a chocoholic, I would NEVER suggest you drop chocolate for good. This kind of approach does NOT foster longevity and instead WILL cause cravings and frantic relapses.
I’m currently a bride and preparing for my own wedding next year. Wedding planning is overwhelming, so I have introduced a plan for brides who need support and clarity in their body confidence journey which will enable them to feel their best on their big day. See my gorgeous 2023 Brides and some of the gorgeous transformations we’ve achieved.
